(818) 364-9800? f ax (818) 364-6100 7 e xample of c ustomer a pp lication johanson dielectrics receives a lot of requests from our customers to help them with cracking issues. one cus - tomer had cracking at a rate of 16% on 1206 size high voltage capacitors during their process. the top picture of figure 3 shows a clear mechanical crack with a 45 degree angle at the termination solder pad interface. re - populating the same board with polyterm ? capacitors showed no cracking failures. the bottom picture of figure 3 shows how polyterm ? capacitors solved these problems. no cracking was exhibited on any of the polyterm ? capacitors during the customer assembly process. figure 3 http://www..net/ datasheet pdf - http://www..net/
